Darlington, Ind March 14 – Funeral services for Thomas P. Irons, who died at his home in North Dakota, March 3, were held at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Irons, three and a half miles north of here.  March 8.  Rev. Israel Hatton, pastor of the Methodist Church, had charge of the services. Mr. Irons was born in 1863 and was the son of Jacob and Mary Irons. He was united in marriage with Miss Bridge of Whitesville, and during the year 1908, he, with his family, moved to North Dakota. He had been in failing health for the past t6wo years and grew rapidly worse until the end. He is survived by his widow, one son, Clarence, two daughters Ethel and Irene, an aged mother, two brothers and two sisters. His father passed away many years ago. Interment was made in Greenlawn cemetery. – kbz
